In 2023, two engineers met at a Zug blockchain meetup and noticed a glaring issue: privacy-focused users had no reliable way to receive SMS verifications without exposing personal phone numbers. Existing services required fiat payments and KYC, contradicting the very anonymity their users sought. Inspired by the Swiss ethos of privacy, they built OTPKit—a hub that accepts only USDT and crypto, ensuring complete anonymity.
